This little piece of hardware is a beautiful and simple solution to an all too common problem. You know that weird awkward feeling one gets when using a public washroom that has only one toilet and a push button lock set? You can’t help but check the lock at least once before going about your business, and you pray the whole time you are in there that no-one rattles the door for fear that it might actually not be locked. This wonderful hardware, seen recently at Calgary’s NOtaBLE restaurant, should be standard issue for any public place that has single restrooms!
Simple, and I give huge kudos to the designers responsible for NOtaBLE, who made me feel very safe and COMFORtaBLE.
Those of us who express the metal element can sometimes be seen as being overly critical. I struggle to explain that I can just easily see both the problem, and usually the solution, in a situation. It is a hard perception to overcome and I am learning to just embrace my discerning nature while also expressing my desire to make my world, and yours, a beautiful place.
